API Integrations & Data Sync

Our API integration services connect the tools your business runs on so data moves between them automatically and accurately. We build integrations as part of our custom software solutions, from simple webhook handlers to multi-system data sync. When the data feeds your CRM and lead workflows, this work pairs naturally with CRM and marketing automation.

Quick answer

What is API Integrations & Data Sync?

API integration services connect separate software systems so they exchange data automatically through their application programming interfaces. Typical work includes syncing customers, orders and leads between a CRM, store, ERP and marketing tools using REST or GraphQL APIs and webhooks, with error handling, retries and monitoring so the sync stays reliable.

What's included

What you get with api integrations.

  • Integration audit: systems, data flows, owners and failure points
  • Data mapping between systems, including IDs, fields and formats
  • Integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and file-based feeds
  • Middleware or serverless functions with queueing and retries
  • Logging, alerting and a dashboard for failed records
  • Secure handling of API keys, tokens and personal data
  • Documentation and runbooks for your team

Who it's for

  • Teams copying data between systems by hand or through spreadsheets
  • E-commerce and service businesses syncing orders, inventory and customers across platforms
  • Companies whose current integrations fail silently or create duplicate records
How it works

How we deliver api integrations.

  1. 1

    Map the data

We document which system owns each piece of data, what triggers a sync and how conflicts should be resolved.

  2. 2

    Choose the approach

Native connector, Zapier or Make, or custom code: we choose based on volume, logic and how critical the data is.

  3. 3

    Build with safeguards

Idempotent processing, retries, rate-limit handling and validation, so duplicate or failed events do not corrupt data.

  4. 4

    Monitor

Alerts on failures, logs you can search, and a clear process for replaying records when a third-party API is down.

REST, GraphQL or webhooks: what is the difference?

REST and GraphQL are ways to request data from an API, while webhooks are a way for a system to push data to you when something happens. A REST API exposes resources at separate endpoints, such as orders or customers. GraphQL lets the client ask for exactly the fields it needs in a single request.

Webhooks reverse the direction: instead of asking every few minutes whether anything changed, the source system sends an event the moment an order is placed or a form is submitted. Most robust integrations combine both, using webhooks for real-time events and scheduled API calls to reconcile anything that was missed.

Why do integrations break, and how do you prevent it?

Integrations usually break because of changes and edge cases rather than bad code on day one: an API version is retired, a field is renamed, a token expires, a rate limit is hit or a record arrives in an unexpected format. Without monitoring, these failures are silent until someone notices missing data.

We design for failure from the start. Every event is logged, failed records are queued for retry, alerts go to a named owner, and we track vendor API deprecation notices. Integration code is also tested like any other software, as part of our custom software development practice.

Marketing data is a common case. Sending conversion events from your server to ad platforms is a specialized integration we cover under server-side tracking. For a scoped estimate, see our pricing page.

FAQ

API integrations questions.

Sometimes. Options include file exports on a schedule, database access with permission, or a vendor's partner API. We assess what is technically possible and allowed under the vendor's terms before recommending an approach.

Zapier and Make are great for simple, low-volume workflows. Custom integrations make sense when volume is high, logic is complex, data is sensitive or failures are costly.

Cost depends on the number of systems, the complexity of the data mapping and the reliability requirements. We estimate after an integration audit, and our pricing page explains how we structure the work.

We can, through an ongoing support plan that covers monitoring, vendor API changes and fixes. We also provide documentation so your own team can maintain it.
